In Asia several institutes have implanted PBL during the past decades. Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in Kuala Lumpur, one of the outstanding centres of educational innovation and research hosts the 4th International Research Symposium on PBL, July 2-3 2013. Once more the symposium aims to bring together researchers studying all aspects of the learning process in problem based and project based learning, and those involved in the implementation of these approaches across the disciplines from all over the world.
